How to launch your memecoin on Pump

This guide walks you through each step of the Pump flow so you know exactly what you are signing and what your community will see.

1. Fill in token basics

On the create page, start with your token name and symbol. The name is what users see in wallets and explorers, while the symbol is a short code like PUMP or MEME.

Pick a name that matches your meme and brand.
Symbols are usually 3–6 capitals, easy to type.
Write a short description with your meme story.

2. Connect your links & logo

Add your website, Twitter / X, Discord and Telegram so holders can find your real channels. Upload a square logo so Pump and explorers can render it cleanly.

Use official links only – no link shorteners if possible.
Logo should be high‑contrast and readable at small sizes.

3. Choose supply & safety settings

Decide the total supply using the 10^power control. Then configure authority options to lock minting, freezing or metadata changes after launch if you want extra trust.

Higher supply does not change price by itself – just the units.
Revoking authorities is common when you want a fully frozen meme with no extra mint risk.

4. Optional extras: vanity & creator info

You can pay a small extra fee to search for a vanity mint suffix (like ...PUMP) or attach creator details so people know who is behind the token.

Vanity mints are cosmetic but highly shareable.
Creator info is useful if you are a public team or influencer.

5. Review the fee summary & pay

On the right‑hand side of the create page, Pump shows you an exact fee breakdown before you continue. When you click Proceed to payment, your wallet opens and you sign a single SOL transfer to the Pump platform.

After payment, Pump automatically creates your token, uploads metadata, and (optionally) revokes authorities based on your settings.
